LESS OF ME
THE MINISTRY:
Less of Me focuses on telling others about the love and grace of Jesus Christ through their music. The lyrics not only praise the name of Jesus, but give hope to those who are discouraged. Less Of Me strives to keep God in the middle of all that they do.
INTERVIEW:
CP: What type of band are you?
A: Christian Rock
CP: Tell us a brief history of your band.
A: Less of Me formed in early 2005. We started by playing praise music at our church on Sunday nights. After a few months, we began to write original songs and play shows at other churches and events. Each band member then realized the calling to play music placed on their lives was stronger than ever.
CP: Who are your musical influences?
A: Kutless, Third Day, 12 Stones, Pillar, 3 Doors Down, Shinedown, Skillet
CP: What inspires Less of Me to do what you do?
A: We love to play music, so we feel like that best way to tell others about Jesus is through music.
CP: Where was your most memorable concert?
A: The first concert together as a band, we were horrible but it was fun.
CP: What are some pet peeves?
A: People who live two different lifestyles. We actually just wrote a song about being just a Sunday morning Christian.
CP: Favorite scripture and why?
A: Phillipians 4:13. Its short but has such a powerful meaning.
